The Stamford Cheese Cellar's owners Karen and George Brammer opened its doors on December 10th 2010. The Cellar offers a wide range of Artisan cheeses, combined with their deli, selling chutneys, jams, crackers and pâtés. The Stamford Cheese Cellar are a firm believer in local produce, and regularly stock as much as possible, whilst also offering an array of cheese gift items.
Our gifts range from small to large items, including cheese boards, hampers and bespoke gift boxes made up of personally chosen items from the shop, beautifully gift wrapped.
Or for the undecided buyer, we always have gift vouchers.
Whether your requirement is just a small chunk for your lunch, or a selection for a dinner party, our friendly staff are always on hand to help and advise, and give you samples to help in the decision making process!
Wedding Cheese Cakes
Wedding cakes of cheese have seen a real rise in popularity in Stamford, and not just for weddings. These bespoke cakes can be a great centre piece for any special occasion. We'd love you to drop by the s hop for a sampling session to help decide what cheese you would like in your cake of cheese.
Cakes of cheese are available for collection from the shop or via the post or courier if you can't make it in or are further afield.

Brinkburn Goat's Cheese
Brinkburn cheeseis a pasteurised, semi soft cheese made with Vegetarian Rennet. The cheese is the creation of Mark Robertson of the Northumberland Cheese Company and uses the milk of a Cumbrian farmer's Swiss Saanen goats.
Brinkburn cheese is widely known as an enigma, being an elusive, almost contradictory cheese, because of it's beautiful mix of tastes and textures. The tastes and complexity does grow stronger the longer it matures too, so it might be worth trying it at different stages to get a full appreciation of Brinkburn.
