The Parmigiano Reggiano 24 months aged cheese from Italy, is a masterpiece of taste and lightness, a perfect balance of sweet taste and flavour. Parmigiano Reggiano cheese is aged longer than other hard grating cheeses at 18, 22+ and 30+ months.The history of these cheeses can be traced back eight centuries when monks living in the Enza River Valley Since the ancient Romans.
Tasting Notes
Parmigiano Reggiano is a very versatile cheese it can be used in a different way. As a condiment, added grated on Italian pasta, or salads. As a food, eaten in small chunks, simply accompanied with bread, wine, jams, traditional balsamic vinegar or fruit like aperitive.
