About Gjeitost Gudbrandsdalen Cheese
Tine Gudbrandsdalen Brunost – Norwegian brown cheese, an unusual, slowly cooked cheese made from the finest Norwegian goat’s and cow’s milk.
It not crumble like hard cheeses. The taste of Gjeitost Gudbrandsdalen cheese is sweet but with a tang that is more noticeable in the variants that contain goat’s milk. Gjeitost, also spelt Geitost, cheese has a distinctively sweet caramel flavour, best eaten in very thin slivers with crusty bread. It is great melted on toast or waffles.
Our cheeses are delivered by courier for overnight/next day delivery, for customers in England and Wales only, so they arrive in the best condition. For customers in Scotland or Ireland, please call us on 01780 489269. We charge £6.50 for P&P for orders up to 2.5kg. Orders above this weight are charged £6.50 per additional 2.5kg. Unfortunately we can only deliver within the UK at present.
