About Colston Bassett Stilton Cheese
The perfect Stilton from Colston Bassett should be a rich cream colour with blue veining spread through out. The texture of the cheese is smooth and creamy with a mellow flavour and no sharp acidic taste from the blue. The cheese is best eaten at around 12 weeks but this varies from cheese to cheese as each one is an individual. Melt in the mouth perfection is what Colston Bassett delivers. Always popular at Christmas; Stilton is a versatile cheese – essential on a festive cheeseboard but also a tasty addition to a summer salad.
Our cheeses are delivered by courier for overnight/next day delivery, for customers in England and Wales only, so they arrive in the best condition. For customers in Scotland or Ireland, please call us on 01780 489269. We charge £6.50 for P&P for orders up to 2.5kg. Orders above this weight are charged £6.50 per additional 2.5kg. Unfortunately we can only deliver within the UK at present.
