Baron Bigod cheese is an exquisite Suffolk made from bloomy unpasteurised cow’s milk. hand-made by Jonny & Dulcie Cricklemore, the family use only gravity-fed milk to protect the fragile fat globules in the milk during production. Is called best English Brie cheese.
Tasting Notes
Baron Bigod is brie cheese with a crumbly texture at the core, and a silky breakdown at the rind. The flavour balances a clean lactic brightness with mushroomy, vegetal notes. Made from unpasteurized cow’s milk / no vegetarian. Best with fruits or white wine.
Our cheeses are delivered by courier for overnight/next day delivery, for customers in England and Wales only, so they arrive in the best condition. For customers in Scotland or Ireland, please call us on 01780 489269. We charge £6.50 for P&P for orders up to 2.5kg. Orders above this weight are charged £6.50 per additional 2.5kg. Unfortunately we can only deliver within the UK at present.
